Samsung has always been providing amazing phones all over the world and keeping up with the trend, but now Samsung might be in the race for working on the cheapest touchscreen phone. It is named Samsung Champ and it should be available starting June in Europe, Middle East, Asia, Africa and Latin America.
This phone is rather small with the touchscreen QVGA display of 2.4 inches, which is a lot smaller than the one on Samsung Corby for eg. which has 2.8 inches. Despite the small display size this phone has some decent features to offer. Samsung Champ has TouchWiz Lite user interface that is quite simple to use. As for connectivity, it uses Bluetooth 2.1, and if you like to enjoy music on your phone this model comes with 3.5 mm headset jack. In addition, it has access to Samsung Apps so you can find latest Java based applications for it with ease. As for the camera, this phone comes with 1.3 megapixel camera and with microSD memory slot. This phone comes in all sorts of colors providing nice and simple look.
This is rather simple phone with standard features for its users, and the selling point is the touchscreen feature. Due to its simple features, this phone might be free with a two-year contract. Since Samsung Champ is intended for middle class audience, the price of this model is $150.
